Today you’ll travel back in time in Pennsylvania Dutch farm country, home to America’s oldest and largest settlement of Amish people. Spot farmers working the fields with their horses and manual tools and traditional horse and buggies passing you by as you take in the beautiful rural surroundings. Then meet up with a Local Specialist who will share all about the ‘plain’ lifestyle of the Amish community, who live without cars, televisions, mobile phones or modernÂday appliances. You could (optionally) choose to try out the traditional buggy for yourself on a ride through the back roads, or join in on an Amish familyÂstyle dinner at Good ‘n’ Plenty, serving authentic Pennsylvania Dutch meals since 1969.

An initial deposit from $299 per person is required to secure your booking.

A second deposit of $2100 is required 11 months prior to departure.

BAGGAGE POLICY

The situation is fluid and as such country and state entry requirements, along with third party supplier requirements, are changing frequently. All travellers must comply with their final destination’s immigration and health requirements.
VACCINATIONS
It is your responsibility to check all requirements with your local consulate, embassy or visa centre for the latest information regarding vaccination requirements. Should any mandatory quarantine or testing be required, this will be at your own expense and for you to arrange. Please be advised that any costs for these requirements will be at your own expense. If attractions are not available due to reasons beyond our control such as closures or adverse weather, similar alternatives will be provided where possible.
The indicated length of trip includes time in flight and is subject to change depending on the final flight schedule.

TIPPING

FLIGHTS
This package does not include time in flight. Flights are booked approximately 11 months prior to departure. The flights included in your package are based on a specific predetermined airfare allowance.
Should there be a significant increase in airfares, taxes or government fees at the time of booking flights, then an airfare supplement may be imposed. The flights team will discuss options with you prior to ticketing, should this situation arise. Flights may not operate daily or directly to your destination.

Force majeure means any natural disaster, accident, fire, act of God, act of war, terrorism, legally binding judgment, injunction, action of a court or other relevant authority, emergency, unplanned repairs, maintenance, strike, industrial dispute, work ban, blockade or picketing, travel ban, pandemic, epidemic or outbreak of infectious disease, or other event beyond our reasonable direct or indirect control.
In case of force majeure or other extraordinary event that prevents safe travel, we reserve the right to adjust, postpone or cancel the trip.
